In addition to traditional training for East Asian medicine, I have specialized training and over 20 years of experience in Ayurveda and CranioSacral Work. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to learn Ayurveda under a living Siddha tradition in India. I started learning Ayurveda as early as seven. My family Ayurvedic Physician (Vaidya) in India taught me about doshas and herbal medicines. My grandmother taught me about prakurti (constitution) / vikruti (imbalance) / abhiyanga / and many other therapeutic treatments. My Tantric-teacher from Siddha-Natha linage taught me Sankhaya and meditative practices of Sidhha-Yogini tradition. This helped me to cultivate respect for the benefits of traditional medicine. I studied at The National Institute of Ayurvedic Medicine (NY) and also with Dr. Lad at The Ayurvedic Institute (NM) to learn to integrate various aspects of Ayurveda with western clinical practices.

I am also certified in Visionary Craniosacral Work™ from Hugh Milne, a third generation Osteopath who was very gracious to teach me that Visionary work encompasses all ways of understanding and working with the Craniosacral system (including Biodynamic, Energetic, Mechanical and Sacred). I have spent many months in the Himalayan regions of Tibet, Nepal, India and visited more than fifty Tibetan Monasteries and learned various Buddhist and Siddha Meditative practices that help in healing and transformation.

I also have electronics engineering degree and masters in business administration with 10+ years of leadership experience in working with executive teams of national and multinational companies and managing teams in creating and executing business & systems strategies.

My goal is to provide effective approaches for living in harmony with nature and understanding of our mind-body’s innate ability to heal. I practice a gentle style of acupuncture and integrate with Ayurveda and CranioSacral Work to enhance healing ability. Every session is personalized and based on the pulse assessment, evaluation of client’s needs, constitution, and comfort. Treatment may include acupuncture; essential oils, herbal medicine; CranioSacral Work; diet and lifestyle recommendations.
